Most children born into generational poverty are exposed to systems that keep their mind, body, and spirit stuck in negative thinking. When you are not exposed or challenged to reach for better your fate is often sealed. The organization’s pivotal moment came in the wake of a profound tragedy. It was at this point where it was understood that we can and will do better if given the opportunity. The founder was given the opportunity and turned his tragedy into triumph.
